Nominate a Fellow
Nominations for Fellowship can be made by current Fellows or member social science societies (accredited or unaccredited). The paramount requirement for successful nomination is evidence of eminence and impact of the nominee’s contribution to social science.
The next deadline is 1 December 2024, please complete and submit the relevant online nomination form below. Alternatively, download a form using the links and return via email to administrator@acss.org.uk.
The contribution can be in any area, discipline or inter-disciplinary social science and can include research, teaching, professional practice, consultancy and the promotion and dissemination of social science knowledge. Social scientists based overseas must have made a significant contribution to, or had substantive engagement, with UK social science. Those nominating must provide evidence of the nominee’s contribution to wider social science and the ways in which this has been distinguished and significant. There are two nomination rounds each year with deadlines in early June and December.
Nomination Guidelines
Please refer to the guidelines, checklist and exemplar nominations before submitting a proposal. The diversity monitoring form should be completed by the nominee.
